Save the photo, not the surrounding screen
A screenshot records the image as it appears on your display, which can include interface controls and cropping. To save an available public Story photo through InstaLenso, search the profile, open the photo tile and use Download. This requests the returned media file rather than taking a picture of the viewer. It does not restore detail that is absent from the source, and it is not a promise to provide the creator’s untouched camera original.
Check that you saved the right item
Look in the browser’s downloads or your phone’s Files app, then open the saved image outside the viewer. A mixed Story set can contain both photos and videos: choose the item you actually want instead of saving its thumbnail or a screenshot of a video. On iPhone, adding an image to Photos can be a separate action from downloading to Files. If the Story has disappeared, check whether the creator kept it in a public Highlight or ask for a copy. Instagram Story Viewer
Enter a public Instagram username or profile link and search. Available active Stories appear below as photo or video tiles. Open a tile to view it; Instagram login is not required. A public account may have no active Stories, and private or deleted content cannot be unlocked.
