Identify which step failed
There are three separate stages: preparing the username on the website, requesting content in Telegram, and saving returned media. Note the last stage that worked before changing anything. A username-ready message only confirms input format. It is not a report that Instagram was contacted or that a story exists.
The bot returned media, but the file will not save
If the photo or video opens in Telegram, you can try saving it to your device. Check free storage, your connection and the save controls or permissions offered by your Telegram app. Open the saved file afterwards to verify it. Re-entering the profile username on the website will not fix a local storage problem, and a text-only response is not a downloaded file.
The website rejects my link
Use the account handle or a profile URL with one path segment, such as instagram.com/example_creator/. A display name with spaces, an unrelated website, and URLs beginning with /stories/, /p/ or /reel/ are not supported profile inputs. Copy the handle from the profile rather than guessing it from the person's name. Remove accidental spaces inside the handle.
The username did not copy
Clipboard access can be blocked by browser settings. Copy the username manually, open the Telegram bot and send it in one message. If the name did not copy, you can still paste or type it in the chat. You do not need to install an extension or provide an Instagram password to work around it.
Telegram opens but no result appears
Opening a chat is not the same as sending a request. Start the bot if prompted and send the username. If you have already done that, read the bot's actual response before retrying. A public profile may have no available Stories, or the service may be temporarily unable to fetch them. Do not assume a missing result means the owner blocked you.
Private or removed content
InstaLenso's public-content viewer cannot unlock private accounts or Close Friends content. A removed story also should not be advertised as retrievable just because its old link still exists. Request approved access or ask the owner to share the file. These are access limitations, not problems a different spelling or repeated refresh can solve.
How to report a reproducible problem
Record the page address, approximate time, browser or Telegram app version, and the exact error text. Explain whether the failure was before or after sending a message to the bot. Use a test account you control where possible. Never include passwords, one-time codes or session cookies in a support report. If a screenshot contains someone else's private information, remove it before sharing.
