Confirm the content type
An active Story and a Highlight are different things: a creator may have saved a Story to a Highlight after the active Story ended. Choose Highlights in the bot rather than Stories. If you expected a current Story, check that category separately. A valid username does not establish that either type exists.
Check the profile request
Start from the exact public handle or profile URL, open Telegram, send the handle to the bot and select Highlights. Merely opening the chat, or seeing the site accept the handle, does not run a media request. Recheck spelling and make sure you did not paste a single post or Reel URL.
Understand an empty result
The creator may not have a public Highlight, may have removed it, or the profile may be private or restricted. A temporary loading problem is another possibility. Try again later only if the service reports a temporary problem; repeated form submissions cannot unlock private content. Do not infer from an empty result that the creator blocked you. Choose the next safe step
Check the creator’s public profile in Instagram if you have legitimate access, or ask them to share the media directly. Do not enter an Instagram password, login code or session cookie into a “Highlight unlocker”.
