Check that you need a Highlight

An active Story and a Highlight are not interchangeable. A Highlight is a collection the account owner chose to retain on the profile; Instagram’s Archive is private to that owner. A Story that once existed is not necessarily in a Highlight today. Meta.

Request the public collection

Use the current username of a public profile. Enter it on InstaLenso, open the Telegram bot, press Start if necessary and send the handle as a message. Choose Highlights when that option appears. The website only prepares the request; it does not display or download the collection in Safari. Continue only if the bot returns an actual photo or video.

Save the returned item

Open the media in Telegram and check its menu or sharing controls for a save option. The wording and destination can vary with the iOS version, Telegram version and file type. Wait for the transfer to finish. A video preview or screenshot is not necessarily the complete video file.

Find and verify your copy

Open the copy outside Telegram. Check Photos and, if you saved a file rather than a photo-library item, Files. Play a video through to the end and check sound if needed. Keep the Telegram message until the local copy is verified. If Telegram cannot save to Photos, check its access under Settings, Privacy & Security, Photos. If the bot returned no file, changing iPhone permissions will not retrieve one. Apple.

Know the limit

This workflow is for available public content. It cannot open a private Highlight, recover a removed collection or reach the owner’s private Archive. Saving a file does not grant permission to republish it; use your own content or obtain the creator’s consent.
